Deciding what to delegate to AI and what to keep as human gesture.
The problem
Design teams are stuck between two speeds: slow methods (a five-day sprint already feels like a luxury) and fast AI tools that give generic results.
Most AI workflows skip framing the problem: they use AI to produce faster, not to think better. Out come beautiful mockups that solve the wrong problem.
The work
- Problem: the real problem, in one or two sentences, beyond what someone asked for.
- Actors: everyone involved, those with power and those without.
- Context: technical limits, the organization's culture, the market and what already failed.
- Hypothesis: with all that clear, what to build and how to know it worked.
How it turned out
Each participant leaves with a working prototype and a method. Two intensive sessions in Barcelona and 35+ students of the Master in Visual Communication at IED Barcelona. Also with companies and design studios.
